Rest assured we havent got to the stage where we can render Half-Life in an iPod yet but we are getting closer day by day :)

Vectors, vectors everywhere :)
Well I have chosen to use vectors these are arrays that have the same command set like lists just they are continuous in memory which makes them ideal to send over to OpenGL. I have been using glDrawArrays to get the stuff to the screen BUT (big but) I am moving everything over to glDrawElements as it does give me a little speed boost in some areas and allows for greater control over the entities. Once the whole thing is completed I will whack up some piccies and then move onto other areas.
