Well today I have been refining the system that generates the planet this has given me a couple of extra frames once I complete the process I want the whole thing running at sixty frames a second with the 256x256 map this will set us in good stead for future projects.

I have also been looking into 3d vertex placement and have cobbled together a function that will allow me to create 3d shapes in a 2d screen without DirectX or OpenGL, next up I will look at rotations and manipulation of the vertices.
