Big output today

Today, I sent quite a bit to play with to Ed, including GUI graphics and ingame elements.I hope he likes them, I have such good feelings for this game !
Its very fun to play already, its challenging, its rewarding. Its also a bit of nostalgia, and still can be a fun time for anybody.
Oh, and its no FarmVille clone ;)

Ed:All the graphics Emm sent me are amazing as always I will add all the graphics that I have and update the engine. I have added libPNG, zLib and ENet to the Tombstone engine these will be used by the Win32, OSX and Linux versions of Tombstone.

Art is on its way...

...to Ed, looking forward to what he can do with it.At this point we are testing overall layout, basic gameplay and sprite sizes, as well as general colour and mood.
I am pretty happy with the sharpness of our graphics (pixeled) on the small screen of the iPod.The crisp picture and the colours I chose make it very enjoyable to look at.
Looking forward to a first test of gameplay and overall handling (acceleration controls and tapping).
While Ed codes away, I continue creating more art and think of general design and gameplay ideas.
Ed is cool.I consider myself someone who knows quite many games from the last 20 years, but Ed always comes up with stuff even I didnt know, primarly on CPC and Spectrum :)
But on the other hand that shows that games rarely innovate.

Currently, working feels like back then. For our german speaking readers, its a bit like this making of Turrican 3 for Amiga describes.

Our stuff in the making...

Here is some loose concept art for some of the game we have currently in development.
We work on RPGs, action games, adventure.Graveyard Dogs have PLENTY of projects going on, some of which have been in the making for a long time.
"iSmashem Galactic" was our first step to wet our toes, now that we know the platform(s) better, we are able to turn our plans into reality.Ed is an awesome coder, I have rarely seen such dedication and determination.I just hope I can cope with him :)
